Money issues and beliefs about money can cause quite a bit of anxiety in many people. I know because I've experienced it too.
Growing up, it was my dad who talked about money, a lot.
I remember him telling me 2 specific things when I was growing up:

Always put 10% of your money away from every paycheck you get.
- You have to pick a career where they'll always be jobs available such as a pharmacist.
I used to hear these 2 things, what seemed to be, constantly, especially while I was in high school and gearing up to go to college.
Now I'm not saying he was wrong.
It's just that now, looking back, I'm understanding that he spoke from a scarcity mindset. He didn't know this then. In fact, what he was doing was the best he could. He had a difficult childhood and was able to secure a good job and provide everything his family needed, without a college degree. He so wanted the best for his family and for one of his children to graduate with a 4-year degree (and yes, being the baby of the family and the only one left to fulfill his dream, I felt no pressure at all...NOT!), so I could obtain a secure job and always be able to make money (which we now know, there's not much out there that resembles a secure job anymore).
So coming from this mindset of scarcity, what was really happening was I was being conditioned to believe that money provided security. I had this belief that having a lot of money meant I was more secure. I held the false belief, the illusion, that money brings security.
I've had to work through these money beliefs during the past year and I'm still working on them.
I had a real hard look at these beliefs after
the auto-immune issue I have became active again last December. I thought, 'What was going on in my life in 2007 when the grave's went inactive? What was different then?'
