When I was in the deep dark trenches of experiencing anxiety attacks, I used to do anything I could to try to get rid of them. It got so bad that I used to get anxious over the thought of having another anxiety attack.
So basically the worry I was having over experiencing more anxiety attacks was actually causing me to be anxious almost all the time.
But then I started reading about energy and emotions.
The word 'emotion' is adapted from the French word 'émouvoir' which means 'to move' or 'stir up'.
Let's break down the word even further. The word 'e-mote' means to 'express emotion'. Even the word 'emotion' contains the word 'motion' within it.
So emotions themselves involve movement - they aren't static. If you've ever felt deep emotions, I'm sure you can relate to this. It feels like an eruption of sorts, whether that eruption is labeled as good or bad. Even extreme happy emotions can feel like an eruption.
And from what we also know, emotions are energy - they are energy in motion.
