Welcome to *Breathe*!

It's the new name for this weekly message - hope you dig it :).

The sun was out yesterday and even though it was still a bit chilly, the sun felt so good. And as I was walking Arrow around 4:30pm, I noticed it was still so light out and I just love that!

Spring is going to be here at last!

 
I also had a pretty shi++y day yesterday and today's anxiety-busting tip tells you how I got out of it.

 Do you have a vision for how you want your life to be?

Have you ever thought about that? Really thought about it?

I know there are moments during the year where many people think about their life and what they want, especially around the New Year and possibly around pivotal events and around milestone birthdays.

But what about all the days in between?

How are we supposed to truly navigate on the course we desire for our life when we only reflect on that a couple times a year?

Most likely, we won't get there.

There's so much that grabs our attention out there in the world as well as within our own being such as drama, negative thoughts and other noise like inner and outer clutter, that if we don't have some sort of vision of focus for our life, all those distractions will occupy center stage and take precedence over what we truly want.

How to flip a shi++y mood:


Next time you're in a negative mood - you know one where you just feel like giving up, eating all the chocolate in the cabinet and even possibly a big bowl of mac-n-cheese (that's what I was craving, but I knew I'd feel worse if I ate it, so I didn't - had enough of those days), you gotta muster up all your strength and do the one thing that lifts you up no matter what mood you're in.

For me, that's DANCING.

So that's what I did. No matter how much I felt like vegging out on the couch and turning the tv on, I got my iPad out, went to youtube and put on my favorite song of the moment - Happy by Pharrell - and danced my heart out.

And doing that shifted my energy in record time - within those 4 minutes I was 99.99999999% out of that mood - and that shift stuck with me the rest of the day.

That's how important knowing what will uplift you no matter what is.

When you find that something, it can pull you out of negativity, anxiety, procrastination, overwhelm, fear and more!
