Hola ,
How's your week been? Check in and see how you're feeling....what's your body saying to you in this moment?
Now let's take a 5 second pause and *Breathe*.......ahhhh!
Last week I wrote about some key components for going from feeling burnt out to feeling energized.
This week I have an essential oil recipe to share with you that I created from the essential oils I wrote about in last week's post.
I diffused this blend a lot this week, and I love it. I hope you enjoy it too.
I've also been thinking a whole lot more about energy.........
I've always been into 'energy' but recently I've been navigating my focus a lot more around energy
and moods.
Just like last week where I spoke of how much energy our body uses for its bodily functions and we don't even have to think about it, our body also responds to the energy of our emotions without us even thinking about it.
Take anxiety for instance........when I used to wake up in the middle of the night with an anxiety attack, the following day I felt so wiped out energy-wise. It was hard to do anything mentally or physically such as writing
or working out because I was so drained. Have you ever experienced the energy-zapping power of anxiety and stress ? It's quite the energy-drainer isn't it?!
So today's Spotlight Article talks a bit about our vital energy with an aromatherapy recipe that will help you if your goal is to experience a renewed sense of energy, vitality and connection within. Enjoy!

Spotlight Article: Essential Oil Diffuser Recipe to Renew your Vital Energy

In my last article I wrote about some key components to going from feeling burnt out to feeling a renewed sense of energy. This renewed sense of energy I'm speaking of is not the type of energy where you don't know what to do with yourself because you are so hyped up. The type of energy I'm talking
about is an uplifting, refreshing, even somewhat calming kind of energy that brings you back to center and back into alignment with your true self. Why is this important? It's important because once you connect back into, and refuel your vital energy -
the life force that sustains your being - you can then take action in doing what you need to do or in being how you want to be, in the present moment. The Energy Revival recipe below is a

ANXIETY BUSTING TIP Energy drainers..... |

Discover your 'Energy Drainers' exercise:
- Close your eyes and in your mind's eye, play out what a normal day looks like for you as if you were watching a movie film - take note of every little action you do
- Then grab
a piece of paper and a pen and write down on the top left, 'Energy Drainers'
- Underneath that heading, write a list down the page of everything you noticed, as you went through your day, that drains your energy (you'll know it's a drainer when you feel
an internal 'ugh' feeling in your body when you think of it)
- In the center top of the paper write 'Realizations' and write down any realization you have when you think of each 'energy
drainer'.
- Then on the top right side of the paper, write 'Alternatives' and list anything that surfaces for you that could empower you to either change, accept or choose another
action, for that corresponding energy drainer.
Let me share an example with you: An energy drainer of mine is cooking.
A realization I
had around cooking is that it's a big energy drainer for me when I'm not prepared and stocked with healthy food choices. I can empower myself by choosing to be prepared by planning ahead. One day a week I will look at the list of ingredients I use frequently that I have on my iPhone and see what I'm almost out of. I'll mark down what I need to purchase and think of healthy snacks that I can
have handy such as veggies and hummus, assorted nuts etc. and be sure that I have them on hand. And if there's a certain recipe I feel like making, I'll be sure to have those ingredients available too.
Doing this exercise will make you more aware of the stuff you do daily that zaps your energy and empower you to take notice of what you can do about it.
