Hola ,
Just think, the breath sustains us.....without it we'd fizz out....now that's a good reason to take a nice deep belly breath isn't it?!!!........ahhhh!
There's a lot of info in this note......scan it and choose what resonates with you. Have you met anyone cool lately?
Are you open to meeting new people?
I've been
meeting so many awesome, cool, like-minded people lately and it's no coincidence.
But there's a key word in the sentence above the sentence above (did ya get that?). And that key word is OPEN.
So in this week's Spotlight Article I wrote about 2 unexpected chats I had on the same
day in 2 different places - Anthropologie and Whole Foods.
And this week's Anxiety Busting Tip has to do with doing something that matters which includes an offer to chat with me if you're interested in doing what I'm doing - so if you're interested in meeting amazing people, igniting your life and being involved in something that changes peoples' lives, check it out below.
And lastly, my 2 friends (they are sisters)
from Companion Canines are looking for help with sponsoring dogs that are not adoptable but will have a forever home with them. I'm sponsoring Easter - just look at her sweet pic below......Read below to learn more.
Enjoy!
Thanks for opening up this message and taking the time to read it - hope you enjoy and get some use out of its contents.
Wishing you a
cozy, hangin-out-with-cool-people kinda weekend!

Spotlight Article: An Unexpected Chat
|
|
I was at the Anthropologie store two weeks ago. I was headed toward the checkout line but then stopped to look at some jewelry. As I took a couple steps closer to the checkout line, a woman thought she had cut in front of me.
She said, 'oh, did I just take your space in line?' I said, 'no I just got here.' She said, 'oh good, I didn't want to cut in line. I don't like when people do that and they don't even
care.' I said jokingly, 'I know, sometimes they just pretend they don't even see you and jump right in line.' We laughed. She said, 'you know, I'm older but still like to shop in this
store - I like the edge it has to it and I can still wear some of their stuff. I wasn't sure about these jeans (she showed me the jeans), but I like them so I'm getting them.' (her being older and being in line at Anthropologie didn't even cross my mind as being strange.) I said, 'I
think we can wear whatever we want no matter what age we are. Just because we may be a little older, doesn't mean we have to conform to what society says we should and shouldn't wear.' She said, 'well I'm.......Click here to keep reading

ANXIETY BUSTING TIP Do Something That Matters To You! |

Do Something That Matters to YOU!
Does your life light you up?
I've been on both sides of the spectrum and although I try not to judge myself by what I accomplish or do, it can feel hard when
you're not sure if what you are doing is what you are meant to do.
Plus, some days, it's hard when you start questioning yourself if what you are doing is really worth it.
Well, I have to tell you, I am now experiencing what it feels like to do what you're meant to do and the key seems to be that that feeling gets infused into all other areas of your life.
If you haven't felt this before, it's about time you
do.
Life is too short to not be living it to the fullest and not to be unleashing your fullest potential.
So what matters to you? What would you love to do so much that even if you didn't get paid for it, you'd keep doing it? (I ask this because I truly believe that once you find what this is, the money will come.)
What's your
dream?
I have a dream of connecting with thousands of people across this country in order to help them make healthier choices for themselves and their families by educating them on toxic chemicals in personal care and cleaning products.
In order to reach this many people, my dream is to create an empowering team. A team of like-minded members who:
- are passionate
- want to fill a gap in their life
- have a desire to create change
- love helping others
- would love to make an income while doing all of the above
If you resonate with the message of sharing non toxic products and educating others about
becoming 'ingredient detectives' so they can choose healthier personal care and household products and you're open to exploring this opportunity without any commitment, or know someone who would, contact me and let's see if this is a fit.
Over 100 people joined Ava Anderson Non Toxic in the past week. There is so much potential if you are willing to explore it.
As Ava Anderson explains, "Companies can put any ingredient in a product without FDA oversight.... and they do.
Go to www.cosmeticsdatabase.com to see what is in the products you use."
You can also check out the "Wellness" page on my Ava website www.AvaAndersonNonToxic/vedasun.com to understand more about the issue.
Not everyone is a fit and I have a few questions that will help you decide, for yourself, if this is something for you or not. Let's chat.....call me at 201-274-4961.

The Santuary at Companion Canines ~a forever home for the unadoptable
|
Because of the opportunity Ava Anderson Non Toxic has given me, I am going to pass it forward and sponsor Easter. I hope you will join me in sponsoring one of these pups either with a one-time donation or even monthly support - any amount helps. I will continue to put
pics of furry friends here that need support as I receive them from Allison and Tracey of Companion Canines.
Here is what the Sanctuary at Companion Canines is all about:
Companion Canines specializes in adult, senior, and hard-to-place dogs. Most people prefer young dogs and some people are also not willing to take on a dog that is anything other than your "out-of-the-box-perfect" dog, so finding loving homes for these dogs is extremely difficult, and sometimes
just not possible. The dogs for whom adoption is not an option, we provide lifelong sanctuary so they will never have to worry about being abused, neglected, cold, hungry, or abandoned ever again. The majority of our dogs are "sanctuary" dogs and for most, adoption is not an option due to age, medical conditions, issues due to past abuse and/or neglect, etc... The costs associated with supporting these dogs is extremely high; vet bills, food, basic
necessities, etc..., and with no adoption fees to help offset these costs, we struggle every day to continue our work and give these dogs a loving home for the rest of their lives.
We are desperately seeking donations, whether it's one-time, monthly, or whenever possible, to help support the dogs here at Companion Canines. We are a 501C3, so all donations are tax-deductible. www.companioncanines.org

Easter's Story
|
It was Easter Sunday, I had stopped at a supermarket for some last minute items when I noticed a dog trying desperately to get into the store. A lady in the parking lot told me that someone had dropped the dog off with a puppy and left. She said a group of people then came and took the puppy but left the momma. So we had an unexpected guest
for dinner! Sweet, affectionate, and good-natured, Easter went through the New Leash on Life training program at Brown Creek Correctional Facility, but still we could not find her a forever home. One day when I opened the door to let her come in from playing, she was limping a little, I was thinking she just overdid it running around. By the next morning she could not get up and we took her to the vet. Easter had slipped a disk and we were told either she would recover after some crate rest and
medication, or she would be paralyzed. Our prayers were answered when she was able to get up and walk a few days later, but the possibility of finding her a forever family pretty much ended that day. Our vet told us that the disc could go out again any time and we would be in the same situation again. So Easter is now a sanctuary dog. She still plays, but we don't let her get too crazy, and she is very happy with her friend Lily the beagle. Easter was found 8 years ago and is approximately 9
years old.

Star's Story
|
This sweet girl came to us in a trash can with her two brothers, Blaze and Bear. Her mom was a stray, almost feral, dog that had the puppies in a family's shed. The people brought us the puppies but were not able to catch the mom. Star had skin issues and allergies from the beginning and we struggled to find a solution to her constant
itching. After years of allergy shots, special diets, every type of 'skin' shampoo imaginable, and lots of Benadryl, we finally have things pretty much under control. Now Star only eats Pedigree canned food with fish oil added, and is supplemented with NuVet. She knows how much we love her and always has a wagging tail and a kiss for us! Star is approximately 13-14 years old.
