Creating Something Different Requires that You Do Something Different

"Is it really 6pm already? Where did the day go? I didn't get anything accomplished once again! What did I do all day? What a waste......oh well, there's always tomorrow."

And then tomorrow turns into next week.

Next week turns into next month.

And before you know it a year goes by and you're in the same exact spot you were in the year before.

A spot that you're not happy with or in and you get down on yourself because you didn't create the changes and new habits you wanted to create. Or, you may even have dug yourself into a deeper hole......that happens sometimes too.

The question I would ask myself and you is 'What behavior did you change?'

If you want something different, you need to do something different.

LIFT Off to your New Behavior!

I've been trying an app for the past couple days (thanks to a recommendation by Jonathan Mead of Paid To Exist), and yes, even though it's only been a couple days, I'm already digging it!

It's called Lift (for the iPhone or Android) and you can find it here. (and it's f*ree).

The Lift app helps you reach your goals by setting up different activities to do (which also helps foster the changing of behaviors!)

And what I like about it is I can keep my goals to myself or I can share with others through the app. So if accountability is your thing, sharing with others who are doing a similar goal is pretty cool.

Plus, hitting that big 'ol check mark after you've completed your activity that day feels pretty darn good.

And you can also schedule reminders......check it out and see what ya think.
