Spotlight Article:
5 Common Habits of Successfully Fulfilled Human Beings

Image

I often wonder about some people.

The people who seem successfully fulfilled in their life, their business, their relationships - actually in their whole shebang.

And I look at what it is that they are doing.

And although they are doing different and unique sorts of work and hobbies etc., they all seem to have similar qualities or habits.

Here are the 5 that have been sticking out to me lately:

1. Plug in to something daily to read/learn/get inspired by.

I've read about this habit many times at various blogs and by various people, and I absolutely believe it's true in my own experience too. When I grab a book and read something out of it, even if it's a couple paragraphs (or even one mind-blowing profound sentence), I always feel inspired. And that makes a difference in my entire day. Of course you want to grab something that you're into be it a book off your bookshelf or an audio that you can listen to right on your smart phone so you can soak in a dose of inspiration in minutes.

When I do this consistently, I'm more creative, more ideas surface and I never run out of things to write about.

2. Get up early.

Oh boy I've read this habit a gazillion times, have you? And I'm no better at it than I was years ago. Maybe some of us will never be morning people. But I do have to say, those few and far between mornings when I did get up early (and that means I also must have went to bed at a decent time), I always felt better. I got more done, my body liked it, and I felt like I had so much more time in one day.

Why don't I do this more? I will compassionately continue to work on this habit and that means minus any........Click here to continue reading

ANXIETY BUSTING TIP
Change one little behavior

Change One Little Behavior

I've been talking a lot about changing behaviors lately.

Why?

Because that's what we need to do if we want to change a habit.

If you read the Spotlight Article this week, you would see an area that I made a change in this week. (**hint-it involves a desk)

And now a behavior I'm changing to keep this new habit in place is instead of leaving stuff on my desk, I put it where it needs to go.

So that means I'm either putting it in the to-do box or filing it, throwing it out or putting it back where it belongs.

New behavior = New habit

What small tiny behavior change will you make this coming week?

Need help?

Hit reply, tell me what habit you want to change, and I'll throw out an idea to you back in a reply email. Deal?

Cool - now hit reply and let me know!
