Aromatherapy Luminary Tip
Insights and Awakenings

This is the time of year to reflect and give gratitude for all that has occurred during the past year. The days are shorter and the nights are longer. Many of us turn into cave dwellers and soak in this cozy time of year in front of fireplaces with some tea (or wine) and a good book in our hands.
For others it could be a tougher time to get through. I know a lot of people who do not like the darkness of this time. Many people can become depressed and turn inward in avoidance while others become curious and turn inward to discover more about themselves.
This is another chance for you to incorporate Aromatherapy by using essential oils.
Aromatherapy Luminary Tip: Use Lavender, Grapefruit and
Geranium rose, either by themselves or create a blend with two or all
three of them. Lavender reminds us to nurture ourselves, grapefruit
allows us to reveal our true inner treasures and gives us feelings of
gratitude while geranium rose keeps our body and emotions in balance
and attuned to the seasons of life.
Create your blend in a small dark amber glass bottle. Once created add 9 drops of your blend to 1 ounce base oil such as sweet almond to use as a body oil or use your blend in a diffuser (follow the instructions that came with your diffuser).
This time of darkness will turn into a time of joy and lightness that you will treasure every winter season.
Enjoy!
*Important Note: Before using any essential oils, check with your medical practitioner if you have any health concerns or conditions or if you are pregnant or nursing.
