Hola !I hope you had an awesome weekend! Mine was great.
I made some new friends this weekend, Dutch, the horse
in the pic, Mr. Gray, a cat & Brownie, a chicken.
We visited one of my husband's friends on Friday and I
had the opportunity to jump on a horse, and by the
picture, you can see that I took that opportunity....
....but not without a little fear showing up first!
When we arrived at our friend's place, we saw him
riding toward us on this gorgeous horse, Dutch. I loved
him right away and especially his deep dark olive eyes.
So our friend asked if I wanted to ride him.
'No, I'm afraid', I said. So I continued to pet
Dutch and looked into his deep dark eyes.
I felt bummed inside, I really did want to take
a chance and ride him.
So our friend asked again..'are you sure? I'll
stay right by you and hold the rein'.
Inside I could feel my gut telling me to do it.
So this time I stepped into my fear and said,
'Ok! Yes, let's do it!'
And by the end of the day I had Dutch withdrawal.
I told my husband I want to go back and ride him
again. He is such a sweet horse and deep down I
knew those deep dark olive eyes told me he
was gentle and all would be fine.
I am so glad I felt the fear and did it anyway!
